Once again, it’s happened. Your love has gone unrequited. Here are 10 things you can do to get back on your feet and release yourself from the lover’s blues.


1. Cry about it.

Seriously. Let your tears jump start your recovery process. Nothing feels better than a good cry to get over a lover. Just ask Taylor Swift.


2. Listen to uplifting music.

There is nothing more inspiring than a good song about independence and self-worth. May I suggest some Kelly Clarkson or Robyn?


3. Write about it.

Jot it down! What are you looking forward to? Why are you feeling this way? What are your next steps? Sometimes you get the best perspective from seeing it on a piece of paper.


4. Cuddle up.

Cuddling releases oxytocin and dopamine (your love hormones). Stay in bed, get warm, and cuddle up to your favorite Glow Pet.
